The Islamic Centre has a spacious library with a rich collection on Tafsir, Hadith, Sirat-un-Nabi (SAWW), Fiqh, Tasawuf, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Computer Science, General Knowledge, English Literature and other related disciplines.It caters to the needs and requirements of our graduate and post graduate level students and scholars.It has a collection of over 16,000 books. The library has 3 latest computers with an access to digital libraries worldwide. This is to facilitate our students and scholars.
Upgradation of Library
Library has a vital place in any academic institution. The library staff is making efforts to improve and upgrade to cater to the needs of the students. Our faculty is invited to bring their students to the library at least once in a month and introduce them to any print/digital book. This is done to inculcate the reading habit in the students. Magazines of general interest and research journals of renowned national and international universities are a regular feature. The library has a section allocated to its own publications in Arabic, Pashto, English and Urdu along with its research journals. Efforts are being made to enhance the number of our publications. Last month, a number of English language books and some invaluable books published by IIU, Islamabad were added to the library. The addition of another 100 books related to hard core Islamic studies is expected soon.
